Not all appointments get synchronized

hi

I am having troubles synchronizing my HTC Touch Cruise (WM6) and Outlook
2003 with ActiveSync 4.5. ActiveSync does not report any error during or
after synchronization. Checking the calendar on my mobile does not show
all entries which i have added in Outlook. It seems that only "All day
event" entries are affected by this.
The strange thing is that when i modify an "All day event" entry in
Outlook and save, it gets synchronized immeditaley. Doing the same with
another entry i will get synchronized to the mobile but the first one i
have changed is no longer in my calendar on the mobile.

Synchronise the same Outlook calendar with my old SPV C600 smartphone
based on WM5 works just as expected.

Does any one have a clue how can i get real one to one synchronisation
with no missing entries anywhere?

Hi Raj

I have already run the scanost.exe on my ost file to find and fix errors.
unfortunately this has not helped at all. i also tried to remove my pim.vol
file from the mobile to force a complete sync. no luck with this as well.
do you have any other suggestion what could help to get arround this issue?

hi raj

i have found the reason for the whole mystery. a while ago i have imported
quiet a lot of appointments into my calendar all from many ics files. so far
so good. all files have had the same UID like "UID: uid-1" defined.
outlook does not care about this but active sync 4.5 with WM6 does only sync
one entry with the same UID.

Yes, import from .vcs and .ics seems to cause issues of this nature. Have
documented a few instances here -

ActiveSync x appointments I cannot sync my appointments; I tried several method (and believe, I really mean many tries) till I could realized the appointments were the problem, that is ActiveSync is the problem. Any idea? I have appointments with notes and with repetitions.

Activesync appointments lost ? I am using activesync 4.5.0 in combination with a smartphone with mobile 6. When i synchronize my (outlook) agenda i 'loose' some appoitments in my telephone. I added those in my pc outlook. Some other appoitments are synchronized. I cant find out why som
