I use outlook 2007 installed in Vista Business, PPC 6700 with WM6 with
WMDC6.1. I sync my ppc daily. The first sync daily is like syncing fresh. It
does not only sync changes but also syncs all contacts again. It does not
duplicate them. It takes an hour or two. I have 4000 contacts. Why is this
happening? It was expected to improve sync not make it bad.

Hi Vishal,

The first sync usually take a long time but once its done it should be
synchronizing updates only (which shouldn't take 1 to 2 hours!) unless
something installed on your PC is accessing and modifying the contacts in
some manner which is causing it synchronize all over again. Have you tried
recreating the partnership in WMDC? To start with would recommend you move
a majority of your contacts into a sub folder within Outlook so that the
first sync is a bit more quicker and you can check if the issue occurs. If
not, proceed to move them back to the default Contacts folder.
