Hello,
I have a XDA Mini-S which I have had to do a reset on. Before the
reset it would go automatically into sleep-mode after a period of
time, I do mean sleep not screen off, and to wake it the power button
had to be pressed but it would still receive calls. Now all I can get
is screen off mode, the settings being in the power settings, and to
switch the screen on all you have to do is tap the screen. I do know
the sleep mode can be entered manually by pressing the power button
once.
Can anyone out there tell me how to get this auto-sleep mode to work
again please?
Thanks Guy.

Start, Settings, System, Key Lock - tick the box for Lock all buttons except
power button. I know that setting doesn't mention screen, but when I have
that ticked my device behaves in the way you desire.

Cheers Staph, that's excellent. Why on earth don't they mention that
in the manual? I assumed you had to enter a password, and that would
be a real pain!
