Just bought a Qstarz BT-Q818 GPS Receiver for use with my iPAQ 2210
Pocket PC, which runs under Windows CE 3.0. But the Qstarz User Guide
setup instructions are only for Windows Mobile 5, and the steps seem
totally different. However, I did seem to get it working OK by
trial/error. But on my Pocket PC it seems there is only a Bluetooth
active entry under OUTGOING, not under INCOMING. Is that correct
behaviour please?
I should add that this is my first use of Bluetooth in the 5 years
I've had the 2210, so it's largely a black art to me. So I may be back
with more queries very soon!

That's the way mine behaves. Whether it's "correct" is irrelevant if it
works.

Thanks Mike, that's reassuring. What do you use with your Qstarz
BT-Q818? What do you think of it? Do you also use a dedicated GPS
unit?

Yea, that is correct, although it always seemed backwards to me. What are
you using to ensure you actually are seeing the data from the GPS?
