Hi NG,

Windows Mobile 6 on a HTC Touch with german menu,
CE OS 5.2.1238 (17745.0.2.3)

As HTC Touch has got the standby mode function (pressing the on/off button, or
time scheduled) I often use it to save power, but also to disable the
touchscreen while talking.
I am often using SIP, so to say VoIP over WLAN.
Unfortunately the standby mode shuts down the WLAN.
So my device would not be connected anymore over VoIP.

Is there a setting, or a hack, how to enable WLAN while standby mode?

thanks for help

Jan

Well, is there anybody having the same problem?
If so, how do you solved it?
My purpose is mainly not to go into standby mode, but having the touchscreen
locked, while I am calling...
(otherwise my ear is touching the screen and activates, deactivates something or
presses buttons)
If there would be one hardware button to manually lock and unlock the
touchscreen that would be nice.
So one idea was using the on/off button as it enables the standby mode ... with
the disadvantage of disabling the WLAN as well.

Tell me how you do it, and how you prevent your ear from touching the screen...
