Hotmail on Mobile 6

Just added my work Exchange Server mail to my Mobile 6 phone and it works
great. Trying to get HotMail working. However, the Mobile Outlook client
will only let me add POP3/IMAP. Hotmail uses http. Anyone know how to get
Mobile Outlook 6 to work with Hotmail? Thx.

Windows Mobile 6 has special client for Windows Live Hotmail - Windows Live
Mobile (It's synchronizing e-mail, contacts and you can use Messenger). You
can configure it by very easy steps. If you don't have Windows Live Mobile
Client in your device, you must use Windows Live Mobile Online version
(http://mobile.live.com/).

Jan,

I just purchased a Samsung BlackJack 2 running Windows Mobile 6. I see no
mention anywhere on the device of Windows Live Mobile. Is there someplace
where this can be downloaded so I can get access to my Hotmail account?
Also, is Windows Live Mobile integrated with the "Messaging" application in
Windows Mobile and the home page notification for new messages?

Hello,

I have few questions:
1) Samsung BlackJack 2 is with Windows Mobile 5, so you musted upgrade your
phone to Windows Mobile 6 or was it upgraded?
2) Did you purchased from some operator (T-Mobile etc.), because some
operators don't have Windows Live Mobile in their phones.
3) I will look for some versions.
4) If are you using Windows Live Messenger, you can find me on Live ID:

Jan,

Thanks for your post. Here are some answers:

1) The BlackJack 2 that I bought from AT&T runs WM6. It just came out a few
weeks ago - I think it has always been WM6. I also have a Blackjack that
runs WM5.

2) Yes, I bought the phone from AT&T. Apparently, they do not provide
Windows Live application on this device. Argh!

3) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jan,

my device is HTC s620 and I have upgraded to WM 6, so I have Windows Live
application. But I still have some problems with Hotmail setup:
1. when I try to sinchronize e-mail from Windows Live an error is occured -
"unable to synchronize".
2. when I try to setup Hotmail account in e-mail standard client it
redirects me to Windows Live app.

What I do wrong?
