How to open ports?

Does anyone know how to open ports 990, 999, 5678, 5679, 26675 and 5721?

I think we're going to need more information on what you mean by this. If
you're trying to open these TCP ports on a given PC, we're *definitely*
going to need to know what OS is running, what firewall software is running
under that OS, and, if some sort of virtual private network software is
running, what that is, too.

i'm running windows xp home edition. Mcaffee virusscan and no virtual private
network? i think.

Why is WCESCOMM listening on all these TCP/IP ports? WinXP Pro SP2, ActiveSync 4.5.0. Calendar/Tasks/Contacts won't open, Ipaq won't sync I noticed the other day that my calendar button wasn't working. Then I tried to access the calendar from within the program folder. The icon is there but it won't open upon tapping. The same goes for contacts and tasks. Notes is ok. Calendar and task
