I've heard about gaining access to network files via PIE using
file://192.168.1.2, however i keep getting an alert that this url is not
supported. Has anyone else successfully done this?

The URL below is not the name of a file, it is the IP address of a computer
in the network.

Maybe it will work as file://192.168.2.1\folder\filename
