Is there any word on whether Microsoft will provide a version of Reader for
Windows Mobile 6? I'm in need of a new Pocket PC, and 1 requirement is
Reader.

I belive MS is discontinuing the Reader in future versions of Windows Mobile. So one must
use the older versions.

Owl:

The 2.4.1 version of the Reader should be compatible with WM 6.0. If you
encounter difficulty please reply back and I will do my best to assist you
further.

Sincerely,
Christine - Microsoft Reader Team

I have a brand new Treo 700w with Windows Mobile 5.1xx. I am getting
the message the I have a version of Pocket PC that is too old. Can't
figure out how to get this activated. I have Windows XP2 on my desktop

appreciated.

Thanks,

I have the new HTC Touch with Windows Mobile 6. I can install the
latest Reader version and I can read unprotected books. But activation
does NOT work! I also get the message, Pocket PC too old.

I have spent hundreds of dollars for protected books and now I can't
read them anymore! This is simply not acceptable.

Christof,

Please send email to msreadergirl@comcast.net with the make and model of
your device and I will send you the file that you likely need to resolve
your issue.

Sincerely,
Christine - Microsoft Reader Team

Reader 2.4.1 runs fine on my new HTC Touch with Windows Mobile 6. But
I can't activate. It says 'Activation Error - You have an older
version of Pocket PC which does not support Activation. Activation
requires Pocket PC 2002 or later.' What can I do???

You followed the directions about running IE7 in Admin mode when activating,
right?

Hi anyone,

I have a new Sprint Mogul on which I seemed to have successfully
installed and activated Microsoft Reader. however, I downloaded a
microsoft reader ebook off of ebookmall.com and put it in the windows
folder on my pocket pc, but when I try to open it from the library
page of microsoft reader, the reader simply stalls indefinitely. any
ideas?
