Have Microsoft Optical keyboard (Mulimedia) and Mouse (Optical 2000) installed.

Everything worked fine.

Removed all cables/etc to relocate computer.

Upon reconnnecting, no wireless mouse. Keyboard yes, mouse no.
Control Panel - proper settings showing both Optical and USB mouse which I
fell back on.
Device Manager - working properly
Battery level - good
Connection - Excellent

Removed old software
Went to Microsoft.com, downloaded 32 bit Optical Mouse 2000 Intellipoint 6.2.
Installed

Control Panel - Device Manager - all show device working properly

Still does not recognize mouse
