I have a HTC Kaiser and when the phone rings and I answer it the backlight
seems to go off pretty quick, thus when I end the call I cannot view the
contact on the screen, etc. I'm sure I can then press the power button to
re-ligh the backlight but this seems a clumsy way of doing this and could
lead to the power button being pressed too hard and then asking me if 'I'm
sure'.
It may sound petty but I just want my backlight to stay on whilst I am on
the phone.

Cheers

Billy

I've bought the same model and experiencing the same problem too. What
I found out is that the backlight timemout resets back to 10 secs
during a call and the auto-power off resets back to 1 min. While in a
call you can set those setting to a higher value but they will be
reverted back when you power off your device. Seems to me like a bug..
