Hiya all,
I am using Windows Media Player 8.5 for Pocket PC, Build 12177 on a
Dell Axim PDA. There are mp3 files whih can be played, whereas other mp3
files cannot be played and will display either

or the file type is not valid. Verify that the Windows Media network and
proxy settings (Tools > Settings > Network) are correct, or that any required
storage cards are available, and then try again> or simply skip over the song
and goes to the next.

The network/proxy bits does not seem to apply as I am playing a local file,
and the storage card is defintely in. Songs are not protected. I have also
tried the sync from computer method but it does not work.

Can anyone please help me identify and resolve this problem? I need
torectify this as soon as possible. Thanks.
