Hi, all

I recently upgraded my Viewsonic V37 to WM 2003, and I've noticed a couple
of problems with MS Reader:

- In the language dictionaries from MS, the images used to indicate
technical terms are stretched horizontally, and unrecognisable
- The items in pop-up menus are unnecessarily large in height, so that
sometimes the whole menu cannot fit on the screen (e.g. the menu to choose a
dictionary in the "Lookup..." dialog)

These problems happen both with the version of MS Reader included with the
O/S (2.2.1 Build 3052) and with the version currently available on the MS
website (2.4.1)

Is anyone else with a WM 2003, 2003 SE or 5.0 PPC seeing these problems? Are
there any registry tweaks that can change the behaviour of MS Reader?

Cheers

- rick

Maybe it's a font problem? Make sure that the font files are in the
Windows directory. It's certainly no normal behaviour under WM2003 or
later.

Hi, CeeBee

MS Reader uses Frutiger, doesn't it? It looks like "Frutiger Linotype",
"Frutiger Linotype Bold" and "Frutiger Linotype Italic" are all in \Windows.

Cheers
