When I boot Vista Ultimate (64-bit) without my device connected, WMDC.EXE
occupies a mere 300 Kilobytes of RAM -- no problem. But when I connect my
XV6800, sync it, then disconnect it and close the WMDC window, WMDC stays
resident occupying 40-55 Megabytes! Ouch!!
Is there a way to disconnect or close WMDC so that it releases the memory
and returns to the state it was in when I booted and the device was not
connected? The only way I have found is to reboot or kill it in Task Manager
(obviously not my first choice).
Thanks in advance for your help!!
Kevin
