I just downloaded the enormous latest Wikipedia file
TR2_WP_EN_(P)PC.tr (511MB) and ran it on my PC desktop in TomeRaider
2.8. It's a while since I used TomeRaider, but something seems to be
behaving very strangely, either with the program or this particular
file.

As a test I arbitrarily entered 'King' AND 'George', left the first
option 'Match whole words only' checked, and also checked 'Search
within subjects only'. On clicking Go, the first hit was OK. But
clicking F3 to get the next one gave me an obviously invalid hit with
subject 'RR'! Then I got 'R'. Then 'RR' again. Then 'RR' repeatedly.

Can anyone reproduce similar problems please? I reckon it must be the
file. Pity, after that mammoth download!

BTW, I must say this application looks *badly* in need of an overhaul
of its interface. It's so primitive. For example, each time I repeated
that test, I had to re-enter the fields; a well-designed program would
retain the last entry and settings in case you wanted to modify it. As
another example, there appears to be no way to copy text to the
clipboard.
