Is there a way to setup the synching in order to prevent events marked as
private in Outlook from being synchronized with my PocketPC?

Hi Merg,

Not possible using ActiveSync.

If you are using a pre-WM5.0 OS device, then you have the option of
assigning the private appointments a category and perform a category based
synchronization in Calendar using ActiveSync. Unfortunately, category based
sync feature is not available for mobile devices running WM5.0 and higher.

Not the best work around but if you are using a WM5.0 or higher device, then
one way to prevent it from sync is store the private appointment in a
separate personal calendar in MS Outlook.

Hi,
There are 3rd party solutions however they are not free. For example you
can use Intellisync (www.intellisync.com) or Pocket Mirror (www.chapura.com)
to filter content.

That's what I thought. I currently use PocketPC 2002, so I might end up
going the selective category route.
