WindowsMobile syncing issues - bluetooth

Hi, I am trying to connect my pda to my pc via bluetooth. I am running
Windows Vista on a 32 bit machine and my pda is running windows mobile 5.0.
My pc connects to my pda straight away but my pda stays in 'bluetooth active
sync-connecting to Host' mode and doesn't connect. I have managed to get this
working in the past (about a week ago) but all of a sudden it has stopped
working. As far as i know i haven't changed any settings. A bit baffled. Any
suggestions?
