Writing ebooks

I used to be able to create my own ebooks from Word. I recently upgraded to
Word 2003 on a laptop for my primary computer. Microsoft lists the ebook
creator software for Word 2000 and 2002 only. I downloaded the 2002 program
but cannot find it in Word to creat my own ebooks. Please help.

Hm...I have Win2003 on my laptop and donwloaded the MS e-book creator 2002
(Reader plugin) and have absolutely no problems other than the program
refuses to show the cover picture while choosing it (the pic is visible when
I open Reader, though).

Version 2002 should work with Win2003, but version 2000 does not.

Try uninstalling reader plugin and re-install, be sure to download the REAL
file at http://www.microsoft.com/reader/developers/downloads/rmr.asp

I have the same question now regarding Word 2007.

In the FAQ for RMR there is no mention of Word beyond 2003.

Anyone know if there is or will be an RMR Add In for Word 2007?

It would be really annoying to have to figure out how to run two different
versions of Word just to have that feature.

(Although, as an asside, given all the "training wheels" in 2007 I might not
mind going back.)
