Hi..

I have re-boot the PPC and the file in the memory card become .menc
extension.
Any idea how to retrieve the data...?

There's no way to retrieve the data because those files have been encrypted.
The key used to encrypt those files is stored on the device and once the
hard reset was done that key was destroyed and a new key was created. Until
there's a way to export the private key from the device in case of a device
failure, I would recommend not using storage card encryption.

128 bit encryption on PPC 2003 incompatible ? i am trying to encrypt data on desktop ( 128 bit) and decode on pocketpc 2003 ( using same password). but this doesn't seem to work. i am using a 3rd party tool: Nickellie Encryption toolkit that does this very well for PPC 2002. i can encrypt on desktop

File encryption software ?? there are enough ..... Wallet etc. Im looking for a software that makes a virtual folder on SP like Sentry fpr PPC. searches a lot and never find something like this for SP.
