I have a HTC Touch (enhanced) unlocked GSM version with WiFi. My home
access point is set up for MAC authentication, and I manually add the MAC
address of new devices as needed. Since adding the Touch a couple weeks
ago, I'm finding every couple days it somehow changes its MAC address, and I
have to add the new one to my access point -- lasts a couple days, and then
another new MAC address.

I've not had equipment do this before. Has anyone run into something like
this? Is there a way to have keep one MAC address intact?! Thanks!

The MAC address doesn't change and I haven't seen any other users have
issues with WiFi on the Touch. One thing you want to do is ditch MAC
authentication as it doesn't add any layer of security to your network.
It's best to stick with WPA or WPA2 if your Access Point is capable of it.

Thanks for not reading the original question fully, maybe someone will
benefit from your unrelated answer though Wink
