Is there a Desktop Search iFilter available for LIT files?
If not, does Microsoft have plans to make one available?
Is there a public API for retrieving / extracting LIT metadata from
outside of MSReader? Or, is there an entry point into MSReader that
can be called from an external program to get metadata?

Is there any supported method of using an external program to get
metadata from LIT files?
