I have an xv6700 thru Verizon with WM5. I've been succesfully running MS
Voice Command for the last 2 years (ver 1.5). A recent UT Starcom AKU3 ROM
update
has rendered VC useless. Despite several re-installs and repeated ROM updates.

I've called Verizon, who referred me to UT Starcom, who told me "No idea why,
can't help ya, but you're stuck with the update".

What really makes me crazy is the ROM update Read Me file that say's...

• Added the capability to enable or disable the Voice Speed Dial
application to support other user preferred 3rd Party software.

The update killed Voice speed dial too.

Can anyone shed some light??
